The Cure Starts Now Australia Chapter Honored for Research Advocacy

Sydney, Australia — In an event at the NSW Australian Governor’s Residence by the Children’s Cancer Institute, Ren and Sharon Pedersen were honored for their dedication to brain cancer research.  Founders of The Cure Starts Now Australia in tribute to their daughter Amy who fought DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), their efforts have led to the employment of 18 full-time staff in the CCIA’s DIPG lab and have already produced many revolutionary discoveries in DIPG and DMG (diffuse midline glioma) cures.

Previously having hosted the 5th DIPG/DMG International Symposium in Sydney, Australia with a record panel of researcher and foundations and chapters in 2019, in 2020 The Cure Starts Now Australia will host the first ever 2020 regional DIPG/DMG Workshop Symposium to bring a local focus to homerun cure efforts.  To learn more information, visit www.dipg.org.
