Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Awarded $100,000 Grant

The Cure Starts Now Foundation, along with the DIPG Collaborative, awarded another pediatric brain cancer research grant right in their backyard to Dr. Mariko DeWire of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. This $100,000 grant will fund her "Early Phase 2 study of LEE011, a CDK4/6 inhibitor" study. The check was presented to Dr. DeWire at the Lauren Hill Tipoff Classic in Cincinnati, OH in November 2015.

To date, The Cure Starts Now Foundation has raised over $6.7 million in groundbreaking pediatric brain cancer research. The Cure Starts Now Foundation is focused on finding the homerun cure for all cancers.
