In honor and celebration of Naomi Nevesely
Our sweet, fun, loving daughter was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
Naomi was 6 years old when diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumour. Over the following 16 months, she endured 82 days of radiation to her brain and spine, two brain surgeries, and countless pokes and pills. On May 11, 2021, she gained her angel wings. Naomi is remembered for her love of dance, her sense of humour, and her compassionate nature. She was an amazing big sister to brothers Leo (7) and Frank (4).
In her honour, we have opened a chapter with The Cure Starts Now in Alberta to raise money to end all cancer.
Ongoing Event Fundraisers
Caps for the Cure is a fun and easy way to raise much needed funds and awareness for pediatric brain cancer research. We are asking schools across the country to help us in this battle by allowing their students to wear a hat for the day to show their support for pediatric brain cancer research. In exchange for their ability to wear a hat for the day, students will donate $1.00 to The Cure Starts Now
