EVERY DONATION COUNTS

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act will let most US taxpayers deduct up to $300 in charitable donations from their 2020 taxable income. The act temporarily creates an “above-the-line” deduction for donations allowing taxpayers can easily claim the deduction on their tax forms without having to go through the extra step of itemizing it.
