Support built around your experience

Adults get DIPG/DMG too.

When you are an adult facing a diagnosis more commonly seen in children, it can be hard to find people, resources, and updates that reflect your experience. Club 22 was created to help close that gap.

Through Club 22, adults with DIPG/DMG and their loved ones can:

  • Connect with others who understand this diagnosis
  • Find community support during an isolating experience
  • Receive research updates related to DIPG/DMG
  • Use their voice to advocate for children and families who need better options

Named for Lauren Hill

Club 22 is named in honor of Lauren Hill’s basketball number.

Lauren was diagnosed with DIPG while attending Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. After her diagnosis, she used the attention around her first college basketball game to bring people into a fight much bigger than one game.

Lauren knew many children facing DIPG were too young to explain what was happening to them. So she used her voice for them. She spoke about her experience and how important finding the cure was, even if she knew it would be after her lifetime.

Club 22 carries that legacy forward.

I won’t be around to see that, but it’s going to help so many people. That’s why the support can’t end with this game. - Lauren Hill
