The Power of Prayers (Praying for Zeke)

Zeke was diagnosed on October 28, 2023. God lead us to travel to the Texas Children's Hospital and MD Anderson in Houston to start Zeke’s radiation treatment on November 20th. The first three weeks was the hardest (Zeke was crying a lot and got upset of the unknown) to adjust to the process. During the fourth week, Zeke put on his shield, got used to the routine, no more crying or getting upset, when he had to get his vitals, sedated for his radiation treatment and recovery room. It was amazing to see Zeke with high spirits. Met a lot of wonderful people in Houston and they became extended family.

Zeke rang the bell on January 4th after his 30th radiation treatment. So far Zeke is doing well. We got back home on January 5th. Then on January 7th, we had to take Zeke to the Methodist Children’s Hospital emergency room. Zeke developed fever and was treated. Again, Zeke is doing good. 

Zeke is scheduled for his MRI in February. We are asking for more prayers for Zeke. May God perform his miracle of a cure to help current and future DIPG patients and Zeke.
