The odds of getting Ollier's Disease, a bone-growth disorder requiring multiple corrective surgeries, are 1 in 250,000.  The odds of getting DIPG, an incurable brain cancer, are 2.8 in 100,000.  The odds of getting both are staggering.  Our son Sam has both; he is 3. My wife and I dedicated ourselves to making every day meaningful for Sam. My wife quit her job; I took indefinite leave. Sam has had the misfortune of getting two rare diseases; please help us make each of his remaining days amazing.
