Sam has fought his battle with AT/RT with silliness and smiles and it’s working! It is so important for me to teach him kindness towards others and we were so humbled when all that kindness we spread was returned to us with his diagnosis. Sam had to lose his left eye due to his cancer but it allowed for total resection of his tumor which was invaluable. He has since been through 5 intensive rounds of chemo, 6 weeks of proton radiation, and just started maintenance chemo which will last for a year. His recent scans were NED!! We and our community are continually praying for that to always be the case for our Lightning McQueen loving rockstar!!
