The Cure Starts Now's Tribute Funds

Rylan Pruitt's Fundraiser

Rylan was a fun, loving, energetic 5 year old who loves baseball, Pokémon, UNO and pizza. On May 26, 2021, he got sick and passed out at school. He was rushed to the children's hospital where it was determined he had a brain tumor. It was originally diagnosed as Medulloblastoma . We would travel to St. Jude for the next several months for his treatments. It was determined that he had a very rare aggressive variant called Medullomyoblastoma. Even through all the pokes, medicines and tears he would always be best known for running down the lava hallway and beating everyone at UNO. He would be cruising around in his favorite superhero “Spider-Man” wagon with a personality that could light up a room. For Rylan’s last birthday he wished to be a police officer and was officially sworn in to the Fort Worth PD and known as Officer Beans. Over his last couple months he would continue to reach and change anyone who heard his story. He would reach people on top of Mt. Everest and across every state by showing his resilience, courage and faith in fighting cancer as a young child. Rylan won his battle against cancer in his own way on March 10, 2022. From there the TikTok #RevforRylan and #Rev4Rylan was started. Rylan was a motorcycle loud fast engine kind of kid.

I’m forever grateful for the time I had with my amazing son. I learned more from him in the short six years I was blessed with his presence.

Love you baby boy!
