We brought Rowan to the ER for random vomiting and sleeping all day for weeks at a time after being dismissed numerous times by his doctors for weeks.. We knew something wasn’t right.. They did a CT scan of his brain and within minutes the dr came in with devastating news. There’s a mass and was his entire left side of brain.. They immediately transferred us to a children’s hospital.. So many MRIs, within days he had a biopsy done to relieve pressure.. We knew it was cancerous just from the MRI. What we didn’t think is our beautiful boy had a very very rare aggressive brain tumor.. Just in these short two months we are already heading into cycle 3 of chemo.. The tumor is so aggressive there is no time to wait we are inpatient during every treatment cycle. We do not know what the future holds as the research is very limited on a neuroblastoma foxr2 activate tumor... and due to the size, another surgery for removal is not in the picture.. We solely have to rely on chemo and radiation.
