Beginning of September this year Rori was running around causing trouble with her friends around the neighborhood, doing backflips on the trampoline and riding dirt bikes. She had periodic headaches. We thought it was her new prescription of her glasses. The first week of September she began to hold her left hand at an awkward angle like she had injured it, over the next week we noticed poor coordination, so we went into the ER on the 16th and after CT scans we were informed she had a 2 inch mass on her brain. We were transferred to another hospital, and the morning of the 19th she had brain surgery to biopsy the mass. She was diagnosed 10 days later with diffuse midline thalamic glioma h3k27m. We recently finished 30 radiation treatments. After 2 weeks we had an MRI and it the tumor did not respond to the radiation and it had actually grown. 

We are currently trying to get into an ONC206 clinical trial, we also signed up for car t cell therapy.  Incorporating naturopathic treatments and just waiting for responses to figure out the next step. We are staying positive, we are trying to keep moving forward everyday! Rori has been amazingly brave and strong throughout this entire ordeal!
