My little Peter, only 8 years old, started with headaches. This caused us to visit the hospital many times without being able to find a real diagnosis, We suffered negligence from hospital emergencies. My son felt more and more intense pain and the nurse who attended us did not agree to do a scan study on his head, I begged her to do it and such was my despair that I even fought for it, this is how the studies revealed a tumor in his brain and immediately they transferred us from Laredo to San Antonio in the helicopter. Arriving there they operated on him emergency, they managed to remove the tumor but on April 24 which coincidentally is my birthday, they gave us the bad news (cancer is malignant). Devastated by the news we had to make the difficult decision to stay in San Antonio indefinitely and we are currently here continuing the 6-week treatment for radiation and a year of chemotherapy, praying to God every day that my son can beat cancer 🙏🎗️
