Naomi was born with a brain tumor called an immature teratoma, which was discovered when she was just seven weeks old. For the past five years, she has worked very hard to adapt to the side effects of having had a brain tumor, such as partial paralysis and partial blindness, developmental delays and cognitive deficits. Naomi has remained cancer free since the surgical resection of the brain tumor, and like many other children her age - she enjoys all kinds of music, watching Signing Time, swinging, bouncing and eating cookies.
