Kyra started her journey in 2014 at the age of 5. She under went chemo (3 types) in 2014 and 2015.  She completed 43 chemo treatments. She took carbo, vincristine and vinblistine.   Her tumor stayed stable until October 2020 when they saw growth. During 2015 to 2020 Kyra under went many MRIs and eye appts to keep an eye on her tumor,  Once there was growth in 2020 she started a daily chemo and took it 2 times a day for 25 months at home. She got scans every 3 months and is still getting scans every 3 months.  Her tumor is bigger than a golf ball and touches 14 parts of her brain.  Her vison changes 2 to 3 times a year because of her brain tumor.  She gets an eye exam every MRI.
