Allie started having headaches and trouble sleeping at the beginning of the year.  After several weeks the headache gradually became constant.  We took her to the doctor on April 20th where they did a CT scan and found a golf ball sized tumor in her cerebellum.  The next morning she had surgery to place a temporary external shunt to relieve the hydrocephalus caused by the tumor, and on the 24th she had surgery to remove her tumor and was diagnosed with medulloblastoma. 

After several weeks we got the complete pathology back and learned that her medulloblastoma is Group 3.  Thankfully there was no spread. 

She did 30 sessions of full Craniospinal proton radiation therapy and is now undergoing 9-12 months of chemotherapy. 

She is currently inpatient as she has not been able to eat for several weeks and had to have a G tube placed. 

Allie is bright, funny, exuberant, and artistic. She loves reptiles and cats and wants to be a voice actor when she grows up.  Her favorite Bible Verse is Matthew 6:26.
