Alaiyna was born an identical twin on December 2, 2008. Her and her twin sister, Aliya, were inseparable. On September 5, 2014 our lives were turned upside down. The girls had just started kindergarten and we noticed Alaiyna dragging her foot when she walked and not using her right hand anymore. I took Alaiyna to the DR and within an hour we were at the hospital and within 3 hours she was diagnosed with brain cancer. DIPG is so aggressive, with chemo and radiation my baby passed away 3 short months later on 12/13/14. Those last 3 months that we had with her were so life changing. We learned so much from her, the main thing was to cherish and love with all you have! No matter the pain, the pokes or how icky she was feeling she always had us laughing! I miss my little girl.❤️
